Ferb Hams is an Irish jeweller and artist based in the UK.

By jewellery, I mean bespoke, completely handmade accessories / pieces / objects, in precious metal and mixed media. No two pieces are the same; that is the point.

Ferb Hams is a one-person operation: every piece, in its entirety, is designed, carved, cast, and created by myself in my studio.

I work across a range of mediums: metal, ceramic, and textiles.

I began working with metal by pouring aluminium onto different surfaces with a pair of BBQ tongs. Many, many, hours of trial, more error, YouTube and burnt fingers. I gradually built the skillset I have today.

My influences are mixed & I don’t feel want to list them. Have a gander through my site. Every piece has a name, because each piece is specific, an individual, my friend. They are named for their inspiration, and their descriptions will hopefully give you a glimpse into the ideas, references and experiences that shaped them.

What appeals to me most is the conception of an idea and the process of solving that with my hands. It is within this practice that much of my inspiration comes.

Without sounding arrogant, or delusional — or both — I can make anything,

with the right incentive.

So if you want it, ask, and

I will figure out the rest.
